Next year I go sponsor 5 JHS pupils - Stonebwoy




Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, has disclosed that he will sponsor five Junior High School (JHS)  pupils come next year to attend his alma mater, Tema Methodist Senior High School (SHS).
He said this while performing on stage at the 2016 Joy FM Old Skull Reunion.
“Next year I go sponsor five people make them attend this school next year. So if you get any brother sister who go complete JHS next year just link up,” he said this in Pidgin English.
The school also happens to be the Alma mater of rappers—Sarkodie, Eno and other Tema musicians.

I'm not dead - Kyeiwaa




False news reports suggesting that veteran actress, Akua Ataa aka Kyeiwaa, is dead has been described as vicious and untrue by the actress.

News reports had falsely indicated that Kyeiwaa "died last night, October 28, at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital days after battling an unknown ailment,which was later identified as poison."

But speaking to in an interview with seancitygh.com Kyeiwaa maintained that she is currently in the United States enjoying her holidays.

Kyeiwaa is one of Ghana's most celebrated actors with over 150 movies and several awards to her credit.

I'M SINGLE AND SEARCHING - Emelia Brobbey






Actress Emelia Brobbey seems uncomfortable with rumours that she cheated on her husband.

The award-winning Kumawood actress revealed in a lengthy post on her Facebook Timeline that she has since been divorced, no more in a relationship.

She added that she has been single for the past five years and searching for the right man to settle down with.

“Silence they say is golden but too much silence gives room to unnecessary rumours,we know people are sponsoring others to tarnish our hard earned image for reasons best known to them,at the right time am gonna address this with facts.
“Thanks for the support through them all.
“I WANNA STATE THIS,I’ve been divorced for 5years now,never married after that,there wasn’t anyone to be cheated on as my husband with those called rumours,am not in a relationship with any one,not married to anyone, have been very single and still searching! Kindly let my name rest or better still get your facts right.”

Meanwhile, the screen goddess in an exclusive interview with award winning presenter, Naa Klordey Odonkor of Ultimate FM debunked rumours that her husband divorced her for another lady, insisting that the false reports were not an issue to bother about.

When asked about her husband getting married to another woman, she noted “I don’t know, I have no clue and I don’t want to know because all they are saying I know nothing about it”.

She added, “They might have heard stuff but they don’t know what they are saying, I haven’t cheated and I won’t, me when I love, I love with my everything.”

“Marriage isn’t everything, getting close to God and taking care of your kids is everything”, she noted.

John Dramani Mahama Is A Useless President - Samira Bawumia


  The wife of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) vice presidential candidate Samira bawumia has described president John Dramani Mahama as a useless president .
Speaking at a the Akodzo Park in Tema on Sunday during the NPP’s Greater Accra rally, she took a swipe for what she termed insensitive profligacy.
Speaking about the NDC campaign and justifying why she describes president mahama as a “useless president”, she said that Ghanaians are suffering whiles NDC is using all the money acquire party paraphernalia and billboards everywhere .
She again described what she termed the arrogant wastefulness of the Mahama-led government, citing the bus branding saga which she said has denied the country millions of cedis. Money she said could have been used to solve urgent problems.
“We are saying to the NDC that we see you alright…you want us to see you, we see you but we see incompetence, and useless president ,we see you but we see corruption, we see you but we see bad management, we see you but we see bad governance, we see you but we want change, we see you but we want Ghana to move forward…” she observed.
She said together with other youth and well-meaning Ghanaians, they have taken a decision that Ghana needs “an incorruptible leader, we need a competent leader, we need a selfless leader, we need a visionary leader, a leader with good judgment and a leader who loves the country than he loves his pockets.”
